Boomies are enemies in the Klonoa series. They are mouse-like monsters that explode after a set amount of time elapses.

Profile

Once a Boomie starts glowing and flickering, they will explode and will destroy anything that is near the impact.

There is a brighter pink version of the Boomie introduced in Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, the Short Fuse Boomie, which upon being spawned, is already set to explode within a couple of seconds once Klonoa gets close to them. These also flicker between black and white when left alone.

However, in Kaze no Klonoa: Moonlight Museum, Klonoa: Empire of Dreams and Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament, regular Boomies don't glow and flicker. When grabbed by the wind bullet, they will trigger a timer above them, and when the timer runs out, they explode. They also have a flying variant.
